Organizing Digital Clutter April 2017

Tips for Cleaning in a Digital WorldÂ

It's easy to ignore a mess when you don't have to look at it all the time.

For instance, a giant pile of dishes in the sink is a lot harder to walk past than a downloads folder that has been accumulating files for the past 10 months. Digital clutter can be tough to stay on top of because it's one of those things we don't really "see" until it gets out of control and we're forced to do something about it. It's much more enjoyable to clean as you go, rather than having to go into digital orginization panic mode. This month, we're sharing our best tips for getting organized- which includes files, passwords, pictures, contacts, email, and more! If you have any questions about digital spring cleaning or marketing on the internet in general, email us or stop by Anchorspace. Always happy to talk to friends.'See' you soon,Nicole and the Breaking Even Team

Organizing Digital Clutter

The best part about this type of spring cleaning is that it doesn't smell like bleach and you don't have to wear rubber gloves. Here are posts we've written (or will write) about digital organization:

One common type of digital clutter is files (images, documents, etc) that you've accumulated on your computer. Here's how you can not be a digital packrat.

Noteworthy This Month

Noteworthy From Nicole

It may be early to say but

could be stopping all annoying spam calls from here on out. It was free to install and it regularly updates it database of spammers and scammers. Make your cell phone fun again!

Noteworthy From Kassie

I'm always a little wary of "too good to be true" food I see on Instagram and Facebook, which is why Halo Top ice cream seemed like a gimmick. What's the catch?? I broke down and got some this weekend- it has no artificial sweeteners/softeners, is low calorie, and has 6g of protein. Oh, and it's delicious!

Noteworthy From John

Just yesterday, NASA's Cassini mission released the results of it's research sharing that there could be life on one of Saturn's moons, Enceladus. While it's too soon to tell if it supports human life, this is comforting news for anyone who "doesn't want to live on this planet anymore."

Antoinette is a smart and skilled health practitioner who will do everything from helping you finally figure out your lower back issue to looking into your past lives. She looks at health from a mental, physical, and spiritual place (don't worry, she won't get woo-woo on you unless you want that). We've worked with Antoinette to clarify what she does with her customers online. There is a lot of education involved in what she does and doing that online is both time and cost effective. From writing web copy to helping her promote workshops, we appreciate Antoinette's energy (get it, energy?!?) and and happy to help her reach more people, in Downeast Maine and beyond.
